Content is king, the saying goes. That may be true in Silicon Valley, but does it also apply to Wrocław? As the technology services sector continues to grow, demand for content professionals seems to be on the rise as well. But what does it mean to work with content? What kind of career paths does it open?
To help us answer these questions we have invited four seasoned veterans from Wrocław and beyond to a panel discussion:
- Erin Vang (San Francisco), UX and Technical Communications manager at Dolby laboratories
- Wojciech Aleksander (Gdynia), Content strategist and UX writing expert
- Tomasz Prus (Wrocław), Documentation manager at Unit4
- Gosia Radymiak (Kraków), head of Soap! Technical Communication
Join us in this inaugural session of MeetContent Wrocław!

Erin Vang, PMP, has several decades of experience in commercial software documentation, quality assurance, project and program management, localization, content strategy, and people management, currently as a technical communication manager at Dolby Laboratories.
Previously she worked in R&D for the JMP division at SAS, at Abacus Concepts, and SYSTAT, and in 2008 she formed the consultancy Global Pragmatica LLC®, offering services in facilitative leadership, localization, and custom statistical tool development.
Tomek, a graduate from Wroclaw University of Technology, is a documentation manager at Unit4. He developed as a technical communication professional at LG Electronics and Nokia, holding a wild bunch of positions. His passion for content is coupled with curiosity and interest in technology and the toils of daily operational management. He loves all kinds of sports, having a particularly soft spot for football.
Wojciech Aleksander has been designing, creating, and publishing valuable content for over 15 years. His specialties include content strategy, UX writing, and usability. He currently manages entire product content (GUI text and help) for GetResponse. His compass always points to humanity which is still too faint in the dehumanized IT world.
